Hi Ramakrishna, I believe you don't have option to define specific user group but you can set this up for user. You need to create profile for that. Below links will help you. https://scn.sap.com/thread/1243604 http://searchsap.techtarget.com/tip/SAP-security-audit-log-setup Regards, Anuj

Hi Anuj,

thanks for your reply. I want to set it for users of a particular department in my organization. there around 50 users. If we put "*" in user filed, it will be enabled for all users in the systems, but I want to do it for users of one department. can you please help if there is any option for this?

Regards,

Ramakrishna

There is no option to filter by user group, no. If you have some structure to your users names, and in particular if the department is encoded in the username, you can filter that way. If not, I think there's no way.

Turning it on for all users shouldn't be a huge overhead, if that's what you are concerned about. In fact in a production system I'd almost say it should be turned on for all users. It has been on my systems from day 1.

I agree with Steve, there is no option to put filter on user group. Turning it on for all user in production should not be an issue. Regards, Anuj
