BILLING NUMBER RANGES

HI ALL,

Any body can give me help,Our claint have Domestic ,Export,Van sales,

They want different billing number ranges is there any possibility any body can give me suggition plz.

option 1:

Have different Billing type with different number range object in billing type.

option2:

use of userexit for number range.

Better option is to use option 1, as you can bypass the development of user exit.

Simplest way is to create different billing document types and assing the different number ranges.

Otherwise you need to use the exit USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE available in include RV60AFZZ, wherein you can write the necessary code to trigger different number ranges based on the sales organization.

You need to take the help of an ABAPer for this.

Hi chakrapani.

U can create a differnent Billing types as per your requirments like domestic Export and vansales and then u can create differnt no ranges and asign the no ranges in Billing types.
