Hi Experts,
I have a requirement as at a run time without disturbing the normal flow of the interface (async - sync - sync - async), need to store the timestamp by Reading XML tag from InputStream and writing it as a XML on PI server. which is used to read at the start of next cycle run.
Kindly help with the java code for mapping.

>>>Reading XML tag from InputStream
is it from the response message?

Where do you stuck with the code? have you already started working on it?
If you have a mapping for response message, then within that mapping write a UDF to write the required content on file system.

Hi Hareesh,
Yes, it is from the Response message.
I am very new to Java and although I have started with code and able to fetch the XML tag from a file as in code I am still reading it from a file and not from input stream, need help to code both reading from input stream and writing it as a XML on local PI server.
Meanwhile, I will check the UDF option...what to put under ftp: for PI server...I mean what to put as admin:admin@xxxx.
Thanks !

Any of the blogs on java mapping should help you with that. Sample
