PI is not picking the file from Shared location

Hi ,

We have configured communication channels between SRM and ECC.

PI should pick the file and it has to process it but unfortunately it is not processing .

The channel is polling fine without any issues but the file is not being picked.

There are no lock entries in PI system.

Kindly suggest the inputs .

Check whether the file and the directory where file is placed has read/write permissions.And also used ping destination option to check whether the connectivity is fine.

Hi Mahesh,

Did you check the communication channel logs?

Which version are you using? if it is 7.3 or higher version try the ping the channel, it will show the connectivity log.

As suggested by pavan retstart the communication channel, if you still facing the same issue do some dummy changes in the communicaion channel and activate it.

Also check wether the cache is upto date?

are you using FILE or SAP SFTP adapter to pick from SRM system?If you are using SFTP please deploy the latest patch of SAP SFTP and give a try.

Is this the only interface which is not working for all the FILE based integrations between SRM and ECC.

Hi Mahesh,

When you mean shared location, can we assume that the directory present on application server of SRM system is mounted on to PI system?

Can you cross check the file channel configuration to make sure everything is fine to pick up the file.

Kindly:

1. Check communication channel monitoring for possible issues.

2. If you are in dual stack check SMQ1 and SMQ2 transactions. Check SMQ2 on the ECC.

3. Have you activated the monitoring in PI?

What is your PI version?
