UJA_DATA_CHECKER error

Former Member

Hello Experts.

When I run an UJA_DATA_CHECKER on my customer environment I get this error (screenshot), and I've found no information about it

The resource for alias /POA/HOMEPREF is missing

The resource for alias /POA/ROOT is missing

The resource for alias /POA/HOME is missing

The resource for alias /POA/PUBLIC is missing

The resource for alias /POA/GROUPS is missing

The resource for alias /POA/APP is missing

The resource for alias /POA/APPPRPS is missing

The resource for alias /POA/APPNAVHIER is missing

The resource for alias /POA/APPMETA is missing

The resource for alias /POA/APP_DT_SRC_PRPS is missing

I've run this check because I was initially trying to transport the environment from D to Q, and the data collection was not working (just doing nothing).

This environment is the result from a restore (UJBR) from another server.

All functionalities are working fine.

Do you have any idea how to fix those errors ?

Is there a link with the collection issue ?

Components versions are available in the 2nd screenshot.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards.

G.

I'm pretty sure this is the issue I have, but following provided steps in the note doesn't improve the situation :

Hi,

Have you applied the note itself to D before running the program? Also, please apply it to Q and run the program there before transporting.

With note applied BEFORE running the program it works better

Problem solved.

Thank you Ekaterina for your valuable and efficient comments.

Hi,

Sorry if my question seems too strange, but on the components version screenshot I see BW 740 and CPMBPC 801 (not 810), are they really compatible?

Regarding your question: it seems that you have more components, could you please scroll down and show them also? And the second tab with installed product versions please also.

P.S. And I think this should help, because you have 801 SP5 and it is almost 2 year behind http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1979221

Thank you for this feed back Ekaterina.

I totally aggree with your points, but the context is the following one :

my customer had a dedicated BW line for BPC, and we are now merging the regular BW line with the BPC one. There was no plan to upgrade anything, and things works fine on D, that's why we've kept on trying like this.

In worst case I still can take the backup I've used to move my environment from one line to another, but I'd like to use the standard "transport road" because this is the way it should work.

About missing informations :

I hope the upgrade server components step will come soon.

Hi

Try to drag the environment to the right hand side than double click.

Hello Gajendra Moond.

Already tried with the same result unfortunately.

Thanks & Rgds.

In that case, it seems your BPC objects are being created under the $TMP object directory. The note you shared for TLOGO should take care of that.

Hi,

I agree that transport approach should be used as much as possible.

I am not Basis myself, but have I understood correctly, that you are merging two systems somehow?

Also, do you have a Basis specialist near you? It seemed always to me, that when BPC is installed, you should see it somehow on the "installed product versions" tab, and I see it in our current systems as well. But I see nothing for BPC on your screenshot.

Hi.

Not 2 systems but 2 lines of servers.

Before merge the technical landscape is this one :

Dedicated line for BPC :

D21 -> P21 (no Q environment)

Standard BW line :

D20 -> Q20 -> P20

The goal is to move BPC from line X21 to X20 (and then stop X21).

I took a backup from P21 (UJBR) and restore it to D20 (no issue, everything works fine)

I do have a BC working with me, I'm waiting he inplements the note 1980286.

(you're right I was trying to run the program before the note has been setup, I've read the note too fast and thought the note was tha manual action of running the program only 🙂 )

This tab is new (coming from BW 7.4 I guess), but the BPC installation is correct (or maybe 99% correct), because I can connect the environmentshell with no issue.

I've just solved the "ressource alias" issue with this :

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1722516

but the data collection is still doing nothing

When I double click "select objects", I get this directly :
