Error: Oracle client Version 10 or client Version 12 is not allowed for oracle server Version 11

Hello Colleagues,

i am trying to install oracle 11.2 database. but in the drop down if we select the DB server version 112 the only option left in DB client version is 102.

its not allowing to continue next. our requirement is to get DB client version to 112 as well. please help

yes its latest, it think some bug in swpm

If you are installing an ABAP stack you may install the system with 10G client and once the installation is done replace the client with 11G version. Try with another version of the SWPM toolset and see if that lets you install the system with 11G client

1431800 - "Oracle 11.2.0: Central Technical Note" (especially section Prerequisites)

819829 - "Oracle Instant Client Installation and Configuration on Unix"

998004 - "Update the Oracle Instant Client on Windows"
