Issue related to multiple outputs in the Return Process.

Hi All,

Good Morning,

Request you to help resove this issue and share your inputs for the same.

We are facing issue for the print and pdf outputs being triggered multiple times in Return Order.

In our Return Order we have different ship to parties at line item level which is different fromt he Return Order Ship to Party.

We have maintain the Output Condition Record at Sales Org/Document Type Level with SH partner function. We have not specified any Ship to Party number in condition record. This is for your information.

If the same condition record is at SP Level it is not issuing multiple outputs.

Please let us know if this is the standard behavior and how can we control this not to issue multiple outputs.

Thanks,

Farhan.

Hi,

You may prevent this if you maintain condition record only for one SH.Otherwise you can take help of the technical team and build up a routine to prevent this.

Thanks,

Farhan,

Yes, this is standard behavior. If you have two different ship-to parties (SH) on your return order, and you have a condition record based on the SH partner, then it will generate an output for each ship-to party.

To prevent the system from issuing multiple outputs, either have your output based on sold-to party (SP) or make sure your return document doesn't have multiple ship-to parties on it.

Hope this helps.

Farhan,

Is the output procedure - in which your output type - assigned to order type or to item category?

If it is at header level, then I think it should create only 1 output (printout or....)
