What is SWIFT MT942?

What is the flow after uploading in ff.5. on which causes it will useful to client? (like updating client bank statement)

Hi Ravi,

MT942 is used for intra day statement. You can update account balance and create memo record for updating cash position for your bank account.

Once you have uploaded MT942 using FF.5, you need to run transaction code FPS3 for creating memo record. Please go through SCN for further details.

Thank you for replay

Actual when we upload MT940 in ff_5. Document will automatically posted into main bank account & also it clears the sub ledgers and open item also. Did MT942 is also having same functionality

Hi Ravi,

MT942 is for updating account balance using in cash management. It helps in creating memo record in SAP, it will not post accounting documents.
