Batch & Confirmed Quantity in Sales Order While doing Delviery getting redusing.

Dear Experts,

We are facing one issue in Sales Order Batch & Confirmed available is 10.300 TO but while doing Delivery Batch & Confirmed Quantity reducing it is appearing as 9.241 TO.

Conformed Quantity in SO: 10.300 - Quantity appearing  in DO: 9.241

Reducing Quantity is : 10.300 - 9.241 = 1.059 TO.

In general what ever available stock in SO that much quantity needs to be show in delivery right but this case it is not happening.

Could you please suggest is there any solution for this.

Hi,

  is the confirmed quantity in the SO also free available (unrestricted stock)?

Could it be that you have a make to order process behind and you just have partially the material available (maybe due to less confirmed production qta. as planned).

The confirmed qty. in SO is just stating that the qty. is available related to scheduling.

This is just an assumption.

I hope this is a hint into the right direction.

Yes SO order is stock is available in unrestricted.

  how is the setting of the availability for sales orders and deliveries?

Please call TCode OVZ9 and check the settings for your rule within the material master for group A - sales orders and B - deliveries.

But this is no reason for the qty reduction.

Can you please check also the copy routines from sales orders into delivery.

I assume there a special logic.
