prerequisites for connecting SAP BW Sysytem with Oracle

Hi All,

We are implementing a new project wherein we have a requirement to connect SAP BW system with Oracle System to get the data.

I wanted to know what all do we need for connecting to Oracle System e.g; do we need the oracle server to be installed on my system ?

Hi Anjali,

You need to have oracle client on the SAP application server.

You need to have tnsnames.ora file.
