Hi Experts,
When we are refreshing the Transport queue, system is taking more time to refresh. I have cleared the queue also but still when I refresh or adding any transport request in the queue, it is taking long time. What could be the cause of it and also help me to find out the solution.
Thanks in advance !
Regards,
Lokesh Bajaj
Hi Lokesh,
-The size of import buffer is important for the time needed. Please refer to SAP note 1924741 to shrink the buffer file size.
-DIR_TRANS also influences whether local or NFS mounted.
-You can see note 1924741 - It takes long time to refresh the import queue of one system
to check other possible causes.
-Please, ensure you use last kernel ant transport tools

Hi, try these parameter:
SP_TRANS_SYNC = OFF (switch off checking components version)

Hi Lokesh
i believe you are talking about queue in stms
If yes, reading the buffer can be slow for several reasons, how big it is the file? how many transports are in the buffer? is it local or is in a shared transport directory?
if no, I apologize.
Let me know
cheers
