Hi everyone

I am new to SAP Basis.I have installed SAP4.7EE on Win 2003 with SP1 and i was successful .

I was not successful when i was trying to install SAP4.6 B on Win2003 with SP1.I asked one of my friend about this and he said that we can install SAP 4.6B on WIN 2000 with sp4 without any hassle and If we want to do that on WIN 2003 with SP1 ,then we need to go for original version of Windows 2003 Server OS

Is that true?

Cant we install on pirated version?

Please answer my queries as soon as possible.

I would really appreciate if u can answer to my queries in a decent way with clear explanation.

Thanks once again and have a nice day

every Oracle Version before 9.2.0.2.3 is not supported on Windows Server 2003!

It may work, depending on the CPU you are working with.

On most CPUs the Oracle Universal installer will hang or crash when trying to install Oracle 8*.

nobody cares about those problems: those configs are not supported.
