Data Model Input Parameter thru Universes

We are using HANA data models exposed through universes (UNX). Within some of our data models are Input Parameters (for example, As Of Date). When running a report through Web Intelligence, webi will display a user prompt and pass the user entered information back to the data model correctly.

In Lumira, I select the same universe and various dimensions. When I click next, it prompts me for the same As Of value as above. However, there is no value I can enter that works. Any variation of the date returns:

It looks like whatever method Lumira uses to return that value to the universe is not being passed along to the data model.

Found a fix/workaround. We had to install the Extension Pack to work with the UNX universe. Creating a dataset using that connection, we were prompted as expected. The only date format accepted for the prompt was in the format "Jun 30, 2015" (ie using short month). We were then able to proceed as normal.
