Can we use PDP scenario for indirect material procurement and service procurement??

PDP cannot be used for indirect material, and when you say service procurement do you created them in AC03 or as DIEN material type.

I'm using the service created from AC03.. Could you also please explain a little on AC03 material type and DIEN material type.. I know the difference that (please correct me if i'm wrong)

AC03 stores the Service number and description with the required fields.

DIEN stores services as material in material master table.

my question is for which I can use PDP and for which I cant??

I believe you cannot store MRP related data in AC03 service master, however DIEN material type allows MRP tabs for the materials created with that material type.

Coming to PDP, to generate a PR in ECC and send it over to SRM, planning data can be maintained in DIEN materials. So, I asked whether you are using MM01/AC03 to create services.

As far as PDP is concerned it can only be used for Direct materials, but you may test it by maintaining MRP data for DIEN materials and see how it works.
