Dear Friends,
How are procurement proposals created when we use Replenishment type RP. Is it triggered by reorder point ? I am asking this in context to SAP IS Retail.
It would be highly appreciated if config is explained with T-codes.

Ravi

Hi Ravi,
could it be an idea to use special procurement types for this requirement.
In SPRO:
Materials Management - Consumption-Based Planning - Master Data - Define Special Procurement Types
As far as I understand your requirement you want to let the system automatically create stock transfer purchasing orders (purchasing requisitions) in terms your stock is unter the reorder point, correct?
Best regards
Patrick

Hello Patrick G,
Thanks for your immediate response.
My requirement is, I would like to know on what basis the system initiate the procurement proposals (STO/PO/PR etc) for a particular article for MRP type RP.
For example we have reorder point as a trigger point. when stock falls below reorder point, during scheduled MRP run the system automatically creates proposals.
In retail when we user MRP type RP, with Reorder Point zero, what would trigger the creation of proposals in system for next planning run?

Hello Patrick G
Appreciate your effort
I did some R&D in this regard, i came to know that the trigger point for Replenishment planning is the Target Stock in Article master .
As soon as the stock falls below the target stock the scheduled planning run considers that particular article & then procurement proposals are created.
