Invalid BW Namespace error while transporting a cube from

Hi all,

I am getting an Invalid BW namespace error while moving a cube from BW dev to qty system. My cube and the InfoObject where the log is pointing the error both are active. The log says No active version of navigation attribute 0CUSTOMER__ZCUSTGEO exists.  Invalid BW namespace definition. Further analysis showed that I need to maintain some namespace in SE06, but I am not sure which name space to maintain there. What else can be the cause of this error and how do I fix it.

Please help.

Thank you.

Regards,

Pavan.

Hi Pavan,

Are you sure info objects 0CUSTOMER and ZCUSTGEO are in active version?

Please check them individually thru Tx - RSD1 and again activate them.

Those two info objects already exist in Qua system?

if not then please transport info object and later you can transport your cube.

if you get same error, please share your error screen shot with us.

Thanks

Dear Pavan,

Please check whether ZCUSTGEO is a Display attribute of 0CUSTOMER or Navigarion Attribute, If it is display, make it navigational and activate the 0Customer in transport in quality system then move your cube changes.

Thanks

Cross check  above two info objects, reactivate them again.

Later check their navigational settings set properly at master data info object 0Customer-->attribute tab and Cube level also.

Once you done changes, again retransport cube with changes thru new transport request.

Hi Ram,

Thank you for your inputs. I had to individually collect both the objects (0CUSTOMER & ZCUSTGEO) in a TR and move it. Then moved the cube in a separate TR.

@Vijayendra: ZCUSTGEO is already a Nav attribute of 0Customer.

Thank you.

Regards,

Pavan.

Hi,

0CUSTOMER__ZCUSTGEO this object was navigational attr for the 0CUSTOMER.

in DEV check the 0CUSTOMER was active or not.

if it is inactive activate then do transport.

don't use the SE06 - it is basis related tcode.

Thanks,

Phani.
