Hi All,
Could you please any one let us know what is the process to implement new FIGL (0FI_GL_14) extractor to BW.
what is the difference between old (0FI_GL_4) and new (0FI_GL_14) figl?
I do see 0 entries in ECC system in table FAGLFLEXA, still i can implement new figl?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards
Manoj
Thanks Gajesh and Vengal. I checked with my FI team and they confirmed new GL not implemented in ECC.

Hi Manoj,
In addition to the Gajesh points.
Before using the 0FI_GL_14, SAP had 0FI_GL_4.
This datasource extracts the data from general ledger items from tables BKPF and BSEG
After that, SAP introduced the new ledger concept. In ECCS, you had general ledger with more than one ledger, Local ledger (LL) or others, imagine the general ledger data with some kind of version of data.
To separate this, SAP created two tables:
FAGLFLEXA and FAGLFLEXT (the same way as BSEG and BKPF), although the datasource still extracts the data from the BSEG and BKPF tables.

Please google it.

Dear Manoj,
If the New GL has not been implemented in your ECC side 0FI_GL_14 will not be brining any data.
0FI_GL_14 takes the data from FAGLFLEXA and if your ECC data in that table is blank then 0FI_GL_!4 will also provide you with 0 data.

Gajesh
