SAP DBTech JDBC: [-2003] (at 3140): Output columns too long

I know what this means, and I know what the solution is. My problem is this....

1. I created my applicaiton locally with a local MAXBD.

2. I uploaded my application and tested on SAP HANA trial.

** All fine up to here.

3. I got a partner account, and moved my code over and get this error now often.

The settings on the my database is different to your trial, which both work better than your live DB's. The fact that I do not get this on local tests makes my automated testing superfluopus.

(Not really a big problem, but for anyone else - you have to perform a complete test when you move your code over and plan accordingly.)

That's a good point, Chris. Not only the settings but also the DBMS versions are probably different.

I'm just not really sure if you really meant to post this as a question (hence looking for an answer) or just as a note/plain discussion thread. If the latter, can you please close it in order to avoid confusion?
