Personas impact on ECC upgrade

Hi Experts,

My customer is on ECC version 6.0. Now he want to upgrade to ECC 7.0.

I would like to know what will be the Personas screen impact on ECC upgrade?

Please share you experiences.

I assume you mean an upgrade from EHP6 to EHP7?

Remember that Personas is manipulating SAPgui screens, and so any impact from an upgrade will depend on how those underlying transactions have changed between the two enhancement packs. Depending on the specific transactions you might find that there is no impact at all, or that there is a lot. The only way to be sure is to thoroughly test your Personas flavours after the upgrade.

As an example, I wrote about the impact on my flavours of an upgrade from EHP5 to EHP7 - . In summary, of the 23 transactions I had built flavours for, only 2 were affected and the changes needed were quite simple.
