Org Determination based on Partner Function (BP)

Was curious if anyone knew if it was possible to determine the organization data based on specific business partner in my transaction (specifically a custom partner function in an opportunity). The idea is to populate this custom partner function with a business partner which is also an organizational unit in the org model which is linked to some sales data...then by determination the org data assignment block will be populated.

it is possible.

1, in transaction type definition, you need to select the partner function you want for field "Partner Function ORG". when BP is available for this partner function, it will be provided to org determination as the resource.

2, in your org profile, you may use determination rule 10000144 which can determine the sales areas assigned to this BP

3, you will need to make sure, this BP is assigned with sold-to party role, and in tcode bp, go to sales area, maintain data in sales tab for the sales area.
