Hi All,

How to restrict EXCEL cells as attachment when sending BEX  portal report as EMAIL through broadcasting.Could you please provide documents.

Hi,

What do you mean by "restrict excel cells"? The only way to restrict the result in your workbook or query is by FILTERING it in the query designer..

Hi Loed,

My Report is dispalying 50 Lakhs cells and will it able to go as Excel through broadcast(mail format).

One straight question:

Is Broadcasting email excel considers this parameter in

RSADMIN table: BICS_DA_RESULT_SET_LIMIT_XLS while send report as mail in excel format througn braodcasting.

Hi,

Is 50 lakh equivalent to 50 Million? If yes then this is not possible since EXCEL can only have a maximum of 1+ Million rows..There is no way to broadcast 50 million rows in an excel file..What I mean is you can broadcast an excel file but it will be cut after the max number of rows in excel is reached..But you can broadcast it completely using CSV or TEXT file..

About your 2nd question, the answer is NO..The said setting is only applicable for output in your portal..
