OVS with Search Criteria

Hi,

I am using OVS in one of my web dynpro component as I have my own logic to fetch the values for input help. I wanted the search criteria on F4 to be similar to the one on fields in FPM. Currently it shows like :

Is it possible to have search criteria similar to FPM in OVS in my webdynpro component like :

Hi Vivek,

I dont think so it is achievable your requirement using OVP because the second snapshot which you have provided is for select options which can be achievable using WD_SELECT_OPTIONS_20.

Hence it is not possible to achieve the same in OVP.

Hi,

No, it hasn't been solved. I guess, as you suggested, this might not be possible in OVS Search Help. I did see the WDR_SELECT_OPTIONS_20 but only issue is I have a custom logic to get the search help values so thats why have to use OVS.

Hi,

You can also use WDR_SELECT_OPTIONS_20 and implement custom logic to get values given in search criteria.
