BI consultant with Developement access - Developer Key - SoD Violations??

Security Experts - Could you please pass your thoughts on a BI consultant requesting for Developer key. Is this allowed as per std SoD violation framework? Have any of you observed in any organization that a BI consultant is also doing development on their own?

functional consultant should not have access as developer but Its depend on your organization policy.

Bala,

Except developers and Security team no one should have developer access its pretty straight forward in all organizations, if any user requesting for developer access outside above mentioned category they should work with developers to get they requirement done.
