Dear SAP community,
we currently use 2 active categorization schemas at the same time. This was configured as described in the Guide
http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SAPITSM/Multilevel+Categorization in Chapter 6.2.
However, we have one transaction type where we only had 1 categorization scheme active. We would now like to activate the second one for all tickets of this transaction type as well due to a business requirement.
I have setup a new schema and assigned it to the transaction. When I create a new ticket for this transaction type, I can now select the categories of the 2nd schema.
However, in the already exisiting transactions, this is not possible. The field for the new category is still grayed out.
I assume this is related to the activation date of the schema. But our users require to select the category also for the old tickets.
Is there any way to make the new schema available for the existing transactions?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Hi, Alex.
You are right. New version of cat. scheme can be used only in newly created documents.
In existing documents you can't use it.
The only way to make your cat. scheme available in old documents is modifying tables with your ABAP specialist. It is not very good 🙂
BR,
Artem
