Hi

1) In process chain "Adjustment of Time-dependent aggregates" use If an aggregate contains a time-dependent component?

2) Single "Adjustment of Time-dependent aggregates" use for all aggregate contains a time-dependent component?

3) We have more then one process chains containing "Adjustment of Time-dependent aggregates" option if we remove this option from all process chains and add it to only one process chain which run at last Is it OK?

4) Some time "Adjustment of Time-dependent aggregates" process run within 2-3 sec. but some times it takes 2-3 hours Why?

Thanks

Hi Imran,

1) Yes, aggregates containing time-dep attribute or hierarchy nodes will be concerned by this step.

2) Yes

3) Yes, executing it once after the last master data load should be enough.

4) Not sure, but I assume that BW only updates aggregates if the value of the time-dep attribute changes at the new date used in the aggregates. The more changes it will find, the longer it will last.

Hi Frederic

Single "Adjustment of Time-dependent aggregates" use for all aggregate contains a time-dependent component?

Please clarify single Adjustment of Time-dependent aggregates use for all aggregates on every cube in BW or all aggregates on cube(s) in a chain?

Hi Imran,

It will modify all agregates containing time-dep attributes in your system.
