Hi all,

When transferring project data from Primavera P6 to PS through Inspire for SAP , activities are not transferred.

Any ideas what might be the reason?

Thanks

Parvaneh,

SAP offers an interface tool called EPC.  Inspire is an Oracle product.

It looks like you have a bad Inspire implementation.  Unfortunately this is not the forum for Inspire problems.

If you have a specific problem on the SAP side please post another discussion.

Hi Parvaneh,

What's the error message you are getting for your failed records?

is it possible for you to share the error message you get while replicating P6 Activities in SAP?

Hi Sammar,

Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply.

There are no failed records or error messages. When triggering the transfer from Primavera to SAP,  Project and its WBSes are only selected and not the activities and when I check the transferred project in PS, it only contains the project definition and WBS.

As can be seen in this screenshot, there is no tab for activity as Inspire seems unable to select them.

Hi Parvaneh,

It looks issue with the configuration settings in P6. Then an interface problem.. Can you check the back-end configuration done in P6 to see if the activties are part of your structure or not in Primavera?

Sorry cannot provide more inputs as don't have knowledge on the Primavera Side..

Regards

Sammar

Hi Parvaneh,

I am not sure on this, since i haven't used this yet.

You can raise a OSS note, if you are able to replicate this issue.

Also you can wait for other expert to reply.
