Bad Performance When Using Formatted Text Edit

Hi

In view "vw_body_view" in sap webdynpro HAP_DOCUMENT_BODY i've added an Enhancment of a new  UI element from type FORMATTED_TEXT_EDIT.

I didn't add any additional code only mapped the new element to an existing context attribute.

After i did those changes i get bad performances when i am executing the application.

Does someone have an idea why this ui reduce performances?

Hi Ami,

By just adding UI element it does not affect the performance of the application.Have you tried the same by de-activating the enhancement?

Hi Ami,

Is that the first enhancement on that component?..If yes, it will not affect the performance of the application just by adding TEXT UI element or any other UI element.

You can check SM50 T-Code for what all processes it is trigerring in background when you execute your application and accordingly you can conclude.
