Difference between the scenario of normal TPM/ accelerated TPM/ TPM with ERP enhanced rebate processing and Funds and Claims

Hi Gurus,

I studied about the configuration of TPM from SapHelp and the scenarios but still its not fully clear to me what is the  difference between the scenario of normal TPM/ accelerated TPM/ TPM with ERP enhanced rebate processing and Funds and Claims.

If someone could post their understanding it will be appreciated.

to answer in a short way:

Q - At what level you want to build accruals?

A- If you want to build accruals at account & product level, then you need ERP enhanced rebate processing.

Hi Hari,

the reply seems to be a little bit generic. Enhanced Rebate is not only to build accruals at account and product level. For example, a normal rebate at product and account level can post accruals at product & account level.

Enhanced Rebate is needed in cases where Promotions are planned at different levels, and for which the normal rebate is not able to prorate at product/account level.
