Technical Monitoring : Grey statuses in both DEV and PRD Solman

Hello everybody,

I am facing a problem with our solman systems dev and prd.

Suddenly both of them have all statuses grey in technical monitoring workcenter.

I have repeated system preparation, basic operation, managed system configuration and technical monitoring steps with no success.

I have read some notes suggesting to redo some specific steps, again with no success.

Has someone experienced similar issues?

Hello everybody,

Just wanted to share what was the problem:

The alert calculation job, was pointing to DRP instance.

After correcting it, the problem was solved!

Anyway, thank you guys for your tips and hints about it!

Note 2154618 has not been released so far.

We are using SP 12. I tried downloading it anyway, since I cannot open it through support portal, and looks like it is incomplete or something.

I will try to remove monitoring and then activate again.

I suspect for some reason the agents are not being read by SOLMAN.

Hi Jean,

The SAP note 2154618is currently being updated but should be released shortly (at a guess sometime tomorrow). It is actually valid for your release SP12 so once it is updated and released again I would apply this note. Kind regards, Roland

Can you confirm your SOLMAN SP level, If SP13 please apply the latest version note 2154618 - Propagation Error After Host Switch

What is the status of these systems in Define scope of Technical monitoring

Have you tried to remove monitoring for these systems and then activate again

Please try for one system and check
