Hello,

You do not need to install it. Just find a Java stack and configure it. See SAP note 894009 on how to configure it.

Hi,

ADS is the core component for a Java stack. why install it again?. apart from that activate ADS in the portal using http://<domian name>:<Port No>/fun

Thanks Hemanth & Husin for your response.

Need to check the use of Directory "out" and "log" in /usr/sap/trans/EPS/...

never seen any logs or file in both directories.

thanks

Hello Prakhar,

Agree with hermath, for few component i suggest you to use telnet for the deployment, but you must use it carefully since deployment validation in telnet is not better than SUM and JSPM.

Thanks & regards,

Husin

Dear Prakhar,

Hope you are doing good.

Several options are there to deploy just 1-2 SCAs. The best option would be to use a manual directory with SUM. Else you can use telnet as well. SAP KBA 1715441  has all the details.
Let me know if you have any particular queries.

Hope this helps.
