system replication after hana system copy

We have a 11+1 hana SP's9  system with a system replication 11+1.

we plan to do a system copy on the primary:

1)  shut down replication system (db + sap)

2) do the system copy to primary

3) start replication system db +sap.

Our hope is that step 3 will kick off a entire DB copy

from primary to replication system, I.e. initiat. So we do not have to

do any extra work to make them in sync.

Please tell if above will work as expected.

Hi Mike,

You are correct. Once after starting the replication system. Data will get in syc automatically. You can observe the same in system replication tab.

P.S: Hope replication is enabled
