Getting error No profiles found for startsap command

Hi All,

I have installed SAP netweaver 2004 on AIX machine.

When I access the Licensing Adapter with the Visual Administrator I get the message Error while loading service Licensing Adapter

While restarting instance with command startsap ALL , I get following error:

No start profiles found

Please help

Hi,

Just check if all your services are up or not. You can check that in Web container service of visual admin.

Also check your profile file and the associated permissions.

Hi

Go to \usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile check whether or not proper rights are given to the files there owner should be<b> sidadm</b> and group should be <b>sapsys</b>.Also check that all the profile files are available.

Go to \usr\sap\SID\SYS\exe\run :give executable permissions to all files there.also as mentioned above check the ownership of those files.

permissions are as below:

<b>-rw-rr </b>

also <SID>adm is owner and sapsys is a group as required.

also -rwxr-xr-x permissions are there for all the files in exe/run folder.

There is no sysconfig folder in /etc .

as mentioned in the link

In the directory '/etc/sysconfig/network/' you will find a script called

'./ifcfg-eth0:0'. This script contain the configuration of your network
