Hi ,

I wonder if somebody could help me please.

While trying to configure CA Introscope through Solman's Basic Configuration, I dont get the field to enter the Path.

Strangely when I used to get the path, but i dont get it anymore, and the discovery process fails with the message

"Parameter Path is missing or Empty".

Please can someone help ?

Attached is a screen shot of what i get when on clicking "Discover Introscope EM".

I am on Solman 7.1 , SPS 13,

Hi,

Many thanks Peter and Anand for trying to help.

I had already installed the Management Modules and the also checked and made sure that necessary permissions existed on the directory. Did a restart too, before posting this message.

Sorry i had not mentioned earlier that this was Linux and not windows.

However  I have gone passed this problem -  the field is back !

The resolution involved one of the below - and i think its the 3rd one which could have reset something internally ... or it could be the result of all three....

1. deleting the browser cache

2. following an instruction from another message opened in this forum involving solman_setup_admin

3. carrying on with remaining step ( in my case this was Ibase installation).

4. Coming back to CA configuration, and at this point , my path field was back !

So for now , i am able to progress.

Many thanks once again for coming to my assistance.

ANamika,

Assuming if it windows OS

Please give full permission to sidadm and SAPServiceSID for Introscope installed path.

Give full permission on C:\usr\SAP\CCMS\wilyintroscope

Check if EM service is running. If not start it.

Hello Anamika,

Have you also installed the management Module for Interscope?

Please check out note 1757260.
