Database type " not valid

Hi Experts,

I am trying to uninstall SAP Server in the phase of profile parameters, no profile is showing like usr\sap\SID\sys\profile. even i try to add profile manually then it's throwing an error Database " type not valid  and it's based on MCOD oracle DB and i logged in with administrator user. please help to clear the issue.

I tried to shutdown the DB, SAP, same DB type error is throwing.

From which server are you running the sapinst?

is it a distributed environment?

Hi Ashutosh,

Its a central instance not Dsitrubuted environemnt with Oracle MCOD. and I didn't face before
