Hope for some help here.

Brand new 2012r2 server set up with RDP access.

I installed CR2013 under Admin account, app loads and runs reports fine.

When I log in under my user credential and load CR, I get the Evaluation message and the app immediately crashes, with this detail:

Again, the app runs fine under Admin - any ideas?

Thanks,

Hi Derrick

I also suspect permissions and one possible way to determine that is to see what a utility such as Process Monitor will tell you. Once you get the logs from ProcMon, search them for Access Denied messages. This may be registry folders, HD folders and files.

Contacting MS though - as Don suggested will also be a good idea.

Hi Derrick,

This is a RDP configuration issue, I suggest contacting MS on how to allow users access to programs installed under the Admin account.

It's always permissions on dependencies and registry key that is the problem. Notice when you install a fresh copy of CR Designer the first time your run it the installer kicks in and begins creating registry entries and other permissions, this is the problem RDC is having, users do not have rights to allow that.
