Hi.

When executing "sapinst.exe" the following error occurs:

Hi Juan,

The problem is an extra "\" before the control.xml.

Can you please try to reboot the server and then start the installation. 



 FKD-00048  Unable to open URL file://C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\ERPEhP4\AS-ABAP\ORA\CENTRAL\\control.xml.

hi Hirmal, I'm installing sap in a virtual machine. I have restarted the virtual machine but the same error occurs. I don't know what to do.....

Hello Juan,

Have you tried to start sapinst.exe with administrator.

Please check. If you still get same error with administrator..then reboot the system and try.

Thanks Anand. But the problema is still ocurring although I have reboot the system.
