Problem with SolMan 7.1

Hi community,

I need urgently to download the required software for ERP EhP7.

Unfortunately SolMan stopped working correctly (which it did before). I have only little experience with SolMan 7.1 and Java. Old SolMan 7.01 doesn't show EhP7.

I found that "system preparation" suddenly shows a red dot instead of a green one. When investigating this I found that the AS java was "not found in LMDB"

So I first patched the whole thing (helps sometimes) but no success. Also I implementes notes  2094461 and 2185763.

I found this document and setup the SLD Data supplier accordingly:

In the last passage it says

"You can now collect and send data to the SLD Server. To do so:

1. Choose Configuration Infrastructure SLD Data Supplier Configuration.   
2. Choose Collect and Send Data.  "

This menu is missing completely. I guess the UI was redisigned (again) and this documentation is for an elder system.

So how can I make this work again? I'm totally lost especially because there is no helpful documentation or help availiable in german language.

Anand: note 1653025 didn't help. No inconsistencies shown

Nirmal: java stack is present in SLD. How can I check that sync?

edit: just found. Sync is active, last poll was 8 Min. ago

Hello Helmut,

can you see the java stack for SMP in LMDB? do you see SMP as a dual stack, I mean under one product system are there 2 technical instances for SMP?

no, that's the main problem - the java system is not visible in LMDB but in SLD

No, I meant everyday system details get updated in SLD. You can see time stamp for update in SLD. So could you please let me know last update time stamp for SMP Java System.

What do you mean when you said "AS Java not found in LMDB". AS Java of Solution Manager itself is missing in LMDB or AS java of some other SAP instance?

Also which step in system preparation is in red?

Please give some more details on the error.

Hi,

Can you please check in SLD if the java stack is present for the SolMan system and also please ensure that the previous step has finished in green and you have activated the LMDB sync.
