Anyone had this situation before?
Tks,

Hello,
I was facing the same issue on my Windows 2008 R2 server when doing the upgrade to 9.1 PL5 and then 9.1 PL7.
I finally solved the issue - see if the following steps help you as well, and mark my answer correct if it helps:
1) Open the Server Manager on the server you're attempting to launch the Upgrade.exe
2) Scroll down to where it says "Resources and Support" and find the "Participate in CEIP" as well as "Turn On Windows Error Reporting" configuration.
3) DISABLE the participation in both the CEIP and the Error Reporting.
4) Retry the B1 Upgrade - running it as Administrator.
Apparently, the DLLs that CEIP and Error Reporting use conflicts with what Upgrade.exe wants to do with your system and the upgrade.exe crashes.
I hope this helps,
Thank you.
