Link between Material and GL Account

Hi everybody!

We're facing the following problem on our company. We have a Stock cube, with 24.000.000 records. The GL_ACCOUNT was added recently to the cube, so 70% of the records have GL_ACCOUNT empty. The client wants to see the history of GL_ACCOUNT linked to each MATERIAL.

We have all the history on PSA, but in our scenario we can't delete and reload the cube, so we were thinking to make GL_ACCOUNT an attribute of MATERIAL, but we don't know how can we bring that relation on a Z Extractor from ECC. Is there an ECC table with GL_ACCOUNT linked to MATERIAL?

Any ideas will be very appreciated.

Hi Ariel,

It is not completely clear which G/L Account you want to make available, e.g. stock account?

An approach could be to build a generic DataSource based on a Function Module where you retrieve the Materials from MARC (Material Plant view), MBEW (Material Valuation view) and T030 (Account Assignment).
