Hi gurus,

SUM stopped while ECC 6 upgrade.

Please guide on this.

Hi Suchandan,

it might have generated some abap dumps in your system.You can try the following & let me know if it works.

1. go to ST22
2. opened the dump
3. and pressed the F6 button

1993319 - Upgrade stuck in ACT_UPG phase with runtime error

Based on the above note, make sure you have the following:

Resolution

During the upgrade to NW 740, the kernel version of shadow instance should be 741,
the latest SUM will request the correct kernel version. Thus, you need to reset the upgrade as described in the SUM guide and use 741 kernel version and latest SUM tool version to perform the upgrade.
