Table DIMAIOBPAR_RE in CD

Former Member

Hello,

What is the use of table DIMAIOBPAR_RE (CD table)? From the function modules where it is used, it seems like this table is no longer supported (obsolete). But i have a requirement which asks for activation of this table and related functionality.

So, any suggestions if this should be done or not? If it has to be activated, how can that be done?

Thanks,

Arun

Hi Arun

Do you have reinsurance scenario active in your system or are planning to use it.

This table comes into scope then

Hi Rishab,

Yes. This is for reinsurance scenario only. Does anything need to be done to make this table work? My functional counterpart said that it is disabled by SAP. And we have to do something to make this table & related functionality work.

Thanks,

Arun

Hi Arun,

Purpose of the DIMAIOBPAR_RE is for Reinsurance customers to maintain "n" number of contract accounts per given insurance object. This setup is not possible with the use of standard IO maintenance table DIMAIOBPAR. Basically your customer should have a specific requirement to make use of this functionality where the customer wishes to maintain multiple contract accounts (for incoming/outgoing payment options) per partner.

You can refer to the OSS note 1394474 which would provide you additional details with regards to this table and the functional reason behind this approach. You can also refer below link where it talks about the contract number relationship and the standard suggestion done by SAP.
