Hi
I see new option Cost element category under FS00 transaction in SFin.
Please explain the requirement/Purpose of "Record Quantity" check box in FS00 transaction.
Thank You
Hi MJ,
In SFIN 1503 enterprise edition, All Cost element are created as GL account and FS00 is single screen to maintain those.
KA01/2/3 for creation of Cost element is not changed to FS00.
So just like in Cost element you can mark the record quantity check box to allow Quantity to be recorded ( for allocation and other purpose), in SFIN this is done by FS00 now.
Hope that answers your query.

Hi MJ,
Yes in Sfin 2.0 there is no tcode KA01/2/3
All of it directs to FS00
So if you see above the cost element comes in FS00.
There is a record quantity now.
So SAP now expects all the cost elements and GL account to be created from single tcode.
Hope this answers the questions. Please close the thread.
