Dear Retail Experts,
In non-Retail Enviroment, does it make sense to Activate Retail extension , if
-There are too many( over 30) Food & Beverage outlets( Holding stocks) within single country (Likely to be company code) in propsoed SAP implementation..
-Mutiple Countries in proposed implementation each further having many outlets
What are the advantages of activating Retail externsion over ERP...
-Valutation at Company code level ?
-Pur org buying for multiple company code instead for plant/site?
What are the main process differences( MAster data difference is known,,, like site,Article. Item etc ) with retail extension active?

Hi Jatin,
I think you have to come from a process perspective to decide, if Retail extension makes sense.
Processes e.g. supported in IS-Retail are:
- Promotion
- Store connectivity (POS Outbound / Inbound) and Store replenishment
- Retail pricing
- Assortment operations and listing procedures
- Generic article support
So, I think you should check, if some of these processes are useful for you and meet the requirements.

Hi Tobias,
these processes do not apply as it is F&B operation..But we were looking at technical extension would enable some of the setting which would fit multiple outlets stock transfer..
