Default SAP Save Location

Hi there,

I know I can run transaction SO21 and SE38 (program RSSOPCGDR) which will allow

myself to change the SAP default save location, but is there a way I can change this on

a global scale.

I can't ask say 800 users to change their location as most of them won't have access to the

transactions above.

Any ideas any one?

Hi Andy,

Hope you are doing good.

You can actually test this once the change has been made.Click on System-> List -> Save -> Local file, the default path should be the one that is set as per the note.
Another point to note is that the documents in the temporary directory will be deleted when SAP GUI is closed; just keep this in mind .
