Goods Issue date on Holiday or Weekend

Hello Guru's,

When calculating my start date for a production Order, if my Goods Issue date falls on a holiday or on a weekend do the SNP heuristics push my start date backwards or does it move my demand date forward? Below is an example:

Demand Date: Aug 04 2015

Production Time : 2 days ( Calendar 5 days a week)

GI Time : 1 day ( Calendar 5 days a week)

GR Time : 1 Day  ( Calendar used 7 days a week)

In Above example:

I need product ready by Tuesday.

GR Day : Monday

GI Day : Sunday .  since this is a holiday do heuristic push by GI date to Friday or Monday?

Hi,

Depends of your capacity, the heuristic will assure that by Tuesday the PO will be ready. The heuristic will do a background scheduling!

Yes. But you have to also check if you are using safety days supply in the product master!
