1 CAP algorithm profiles exist without packaging material assignment

Hi All,

Am facing an Error while performing Cartonization process in SAP-EWM.

System is giving error when cartonization is happening in /n/scwm/cap.

No packaging materials are assigned to algorithm profile for cartonization planning.

System Response

The system does not process items with an algorithm profile that do not have packaging materials assigned. These items are not processed in cartonization planning and not packed into planned shipping HUs.

I have already maintained the Pack Spec for the same but still this error is showing .

Let me know any thing can be done to correct this error.

As picking is done and packing work centre layout  changed as PSHU in packing work-centre and also i can see my Shipping HUs with Material in /scwm/cap but with no close Hu in this work-centre, please can you make me understand how do I use PSHU to move to further steps.

Also, can you explain if you see PSHU in pick HU tab when trying to confirm pick task? Or you just see Packaging material suggested during PSHU creation?

As My Planned Shipping Hu is determined but unable to use my

"HU is created according to planned shipping HU $_000000001100000065 " in WO log

My Question is why this HU number is not showing in Pick HU tab or how can I use this PSHU to perform the packing ,staging and rest of the activity.

Hi Rahul,

This is right, Your planned shipping HU $_000000001100000065 will be converted into pick HU and continue the process. 

Please check your sorting of storage bins for pick activity

In My Outbound delivery

Pick Hu is coming

HU for planned shipping is determined with number starting with $

But exactly where is PSHU can be used or put in a better way how can i use this PSHU to perform the packing staging and loading

Thank you for your reply, I have check the WOCR with CAP Compatibility also but am facing the following Issue as below.

Planned shipping HUs are used for HU determination

New HU opened with packaging material C3

HU is created according to planned shipping HU $_000000001100000054

My Question is the planned HU Which is created and and can be seen in WO log

is not showing in Pick HU for NO reason.

How can you this to PSHU further.

Ty for your response but that error is resolved now

but facing new error as system is asking Planned HU cannot work with WOCR determination

Creation rule SSPS cannot be used with planned shipping HUs

have you maintained WOCR with complex algorithm and your packaging specification maintained with multiple packaging profiles (with packaging materials) are assigned in determination of your pack spec.
