Disaggregation as per demand in aggregated planning

Hi all,

We are trying to implement aggregated planning for one of the regions. We have set up the location, product and location product hierarchies. We have also created the country location on which currently we are able to aggregate the net demand from all regional warehouses(  5 in number). However  we have placed demand and stock only in 3 of these warehouses. However While executing disaggregation as per demand, , the supply is  created for all 5 locations equally , irrespective of the fact that currently only 3 warehouses have demand, Please let me know what are we doing incorrectly?

Regards

Ashwin

Hello,

Please refer to the online documentation http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm700_ehp03/helpdata/en/27/40c95360267614e10000000a174cb4/content.htm

See if your system behaves as described. If not, what is the difference?

check your proportional factors and disaggregation configuration in msdp_admin.

Check the calculation type in the KF aggregation tab, are you using APODPDANT or another KF to disagg?  If your KF is configured to disagg using Pro Rata, this would be why you're seeing what you're seeing.  What ever KF you're using to disag, assuming you are, does it have any values in the time buckets you're forecasting (i.e. are the proportional factors populated)?  If not... essentially the proportional factor is equal across all DCs and you would get an even split across all.

Did you run /SAPAPO/MC8V?

best of luck
