Planned Order - Large Difference between Basic Start and Finish Dates

Hi,

We are operating in REM Scenario.

For the same material, during one period, in a Planned Order, the difference between the Basic Start and Finish Date is nil. Whereas for another period for the same material, in a Planned Order, difference exists between the Basic Start and Finish Date (more than 7 or 8 days).

Please throw some light on the above mentioned behavior.

Regards,

R Vijayakumar

In the STD SAP bahavior when scheduling planned order planning during MRP run is backward , unless

Classic STD behavior is:

- basic finish date = requirement date

- basic start date = requirement date - in house production time ( from MRP view in material master)

- sched end date = basic finish date

- sched start date = basic finish date - lt scheudling (sum of the LT calculated per each operation of the planned order)
