In order to carry forward leaves, you need to have deduction period from start of validity period to 31.12.9999. This can be done by maintaining Validity and Deduction Periods under IMG Activity.
Put your Deduction To as "End of validity period" and Relative Position as 999 months.
This will make the deduction to date as 31.12.9999 which means employee can avail this leave in subsequents years also.

SM 30 T559L 4th tab u will get selection Rules table this is thru table
select ur Absence ther u will get ur ESG PSG Grp Absence Quota Type
and deduction interval select the radio button Start date of the interval on the left side (that is deduction from)
on the right side deduction to select the radio buttion end of validity interval in the relative position give 999 (determine validity period )
