Hi  Marilia Souza,

If you make changes in the system timezone using the transaction STZAC.

it will definitely  impact the functionality of the  system.

Hello,

For the impact after changing system time zone:

Please be aware that changes in time zone settings always requires a
system restart. The R/3 system time zone is only used in very rare
cases. Nevertheless I would strongly recommend not to start any jobs or
time critical processes during this time period.

When you change the time zone settings on R/3 system the time saved on
database will not be recalculated. Nevertheless some documents might
display another time because the calculation then starts with the
creation time on database and the 'new' system time e.g.'CET'. But this
should not cause any inconsistencies. But as mentioned I would
recommend to avoid the creation of documents in the time period.

David

Hi,

this seems to be an interesting document about that topic.

Timezone changes best practices - Basis Corner - SCN Wiki

If you go back in time, please be aware that there could be similar problems as when doing daylight saving time switches because of the double hour...

I hope i helped!
